Enhanced Safety Procedures
Please see below AIRA Therapy’s updated safety procedures following the government's latest guidelines.
I am able to provide clinical aromatherapy treatments for client's when required for medical (mental or physical health) reasons. A pre-treatment consultation is required to confirm and discuss necessity and reason for the treatment. Once you book your appointment I will contact to you by phone to conduct you pre-treatment consultation.
From Monday 25 January, 2021 the AIRA Therapy Treatment Studio will re-open to clients who have a healthcare need, offering our full treatment menu of services for custom blend Aromatherapy Face & Body Treatments.
APPOINTMENTS: Prior to your appointment you will receive a CLIENT COVID19 DISCLAIMER form to complete.
You will also receive a follow-up phone call or SMS message within 24 hours of your appointment to confirm if your status relating to COVID-19 remains unchanged.
Please do not attend your appointment if you feel unwell, or if you are aware that you have come into contact with anyone experiencing symptoms relating to COVID-19 within the past 14 days.
PPE: Your aromatherapist will wear a visor at all times as instructed by the government and will additionally wear a mask for during massages when clients are lying face up.
Clients may decide to wear a mask for massage treatments at their discretion - this is not currently required by current government guidelines, but we may need to update these safety procedures according to any further updates to guidelines.
TREATMENT TIME: please arrive on time for your treatment but note that there may not be space to wait inside the premises due to safe distancing measures at the café on the ground floor at Oru Space.
RESTROOMS: there are toilet facilities on the 1/F and G/F at Oru Space. The treatment studio is located on the 2/F.
PAYMENT: Payment for custom-blend Aromatherapy Oils can be made directly via the website.
Payment for Massage Treatments should be made using our card machine at the time of treatment.
Please note that it is not possible to accept cash payments at this time.
The card payment device will be sanitised before and after each client transaction. If you would prefer to pay by BACS, please contact me to make payment prior to your treatment.
ARRIVAL: On arrival, and after your treatment, please use the hand sanitiser provided and avoid touching any unnecessary surfaces. Your aromatherapist will also use hand sanitiser on arrival, before and after your treatment.
REFRESHMENTS: Usually we would provide you with drinking water, but in accordance with guidelines, please bring your own water to drink after the treatment.
BELONGINGS: Please minimise the number of personal belongings you bring with you where possible and bring a bag with you to put your clothes in during your treatment.
TOWELS: a clean set of towels and couch cover will be provided for your treatment.
CLEANING & VENTILATION - All surfaces will be cleaned with an antibacterial spray/wipe between clients and as usual towels and linen will be washed at 60 degrees after every use.
An air purifier is in use in the room, and the room will be ventilated between clients.
Following your appointment, please contact us by phone, SMS or email if you feel unwell or show any COVID-19 symptoms within the 14 days following your appointment.
